Synastry plays a more crucial role in comparing charts than the traditional Guna Milan. Synastry offers more profound insights into how one person, or a potential partner, might influence another’s chart and life. In synastry, we analyze the houses and signs involved, which provide clues about the nature of the future relationship.
Through synastry, we can explore whether there are karmic ties or if meeting your partner is a stroke of incredible luck waiting to transform your life.
First, there’s a sign synastry. For example, if Person A’s Jupiter in Cancer aligns with Person B’s Venus in Cancer, it’s a harmonious and blessed placement. This alignment enhances A and B’s luck and prosperity, thanks to the combined blessings of Jupiter and Venus. They will share a standard set of values and a shared interest in knowledge and wisdom and will likely be blessed with beautiful gifts and progeny. It’s an exceptionally promising synastry.
Next, there’s house synastry, where we observe the house where the conjunction occurs. For instance, if the above Jupiter and Venus conjunction happens in Person A’s second house, then A’s Jupiter aligns with B’s Venus in the second house. This would likely activate the significance of the second house, which is associated with wealth and immediate family.
